Bike Rentals
Rates
- Half-Day Rental: $15 per bike (based on a 10-6 workday)
- 1 Day Rental: $25 per bike
- 5 Day Rental: $75 per bike
- 1 Week Rental: $100 per bike
Covered Bridge Cyclery has a limited number of bikes for rent. These will mostly be hybrids or comfort bikes. Road bikes can be rented if advance notice is given. Please make sure to ask about road bike rental well in advance of your event/ride (one week is preferable). You can inquire/reserve a rental bike by calling 765-630-8448 or by emailing Larry *at* coveredbridgecyclery *dot* com.
Covered Bridge Cyclery has maps of local routes available (free) for visitors. We also have some nice routes of our own, which can be found on the "Rides" page.
We do NOT rent helmets. There are two reasons for this. If someone falls and the helmet has no visible damage, we won't know that the helmet has possibly been compromised. Secondly... I don't wear other people's hats or use their combs, do you? I don't want to be responsible for anyone getting hurt or catching something. We DO have inexpensive helmets for sale, though. You can pick up an Avenir helmet for $20. If you will be flying home and don't have room to take the helmet with you, we'll ship it to you, after your visit to Greencastle, for the price of postage.
